PNPM Mandiri Perdesaan is the Government of Indonesia’s flagship to alleviation the poverty in Indonesia. The Program is the world largest community-based poverty reduction programs and implemented nationwide in over 60,000 villages. PNPM Mandiri Perdesaan was launched in 2008 and its implemented under supervision of the Village Community Empowerment Directorate (PMD) - the Ministry of Home Affairs.
