Nenas Pakpak Jadi Ikon Pertanian Pakpak Bharat

PAKPAK BHARAT- Dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Pakpak Bharat menargetkan pengembangan komoditi nenas di tahun 2013 dengan jenis nenas varietas Pakpak.

Bupati Pakpak Bharat Remigo Yolando Berutu, kepada wartawan Senin (19/3), melalui telepon selularnya menyampaikan, pada 2007 lalu, nenas varietas Pakpak telah dikukuhkan sebagai nenas varietas unggul dari Kabupaten Pakpak Bharat melalui SK Pelepasan oleh Menteri Pertanian Republik Indonesia No. 321/kpts/SR.120/5/2007.

Pengembangan varietas nenas unggul Pakpak tersebut dikatakan Bupati, akan menjadi salah satu ikon pertanian Pakpak Bharat yang sejak lama sudah dikembangkan di tujuh kecamatan. Bupati juga menyampaikan, pihaknya membuka lebar peluang usaha ini kepada para investor yang berniat mengembangkan jenis tanaman dimaksud.

Kabid Tanaman Pangan dan Holtikultura, Chairul Pane, saat ditemui di ruang kerjanya mengatakan, hingga saat ini komoditi nenas di Kabupaten Pakpak Bharat masih digemari masyarakat sebagai salah satu komoditi utama di pertanian mereka.

Tanaman nenas terluas terdapat di Kecamatan Salak mencapai 41,4 hektar, sementara di kecamatan lain seperti Siempat Rube terdapat 20 hektar, Kecamatan Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe (STTU JEHE) 1 hektar, Kecamatan Sitellu Tali Urang Julu (STTU JULU) 3,5 hektar, Pergetteng-getteng Sengkut (PGGS) 1 hektar, Kecamatan Kerajaan 3 hektara, dan Kecamatan Tinada 2 hektar.

“Kita juga sedang melakukan pengembangan dengan pihak BPTP dan telah melakukan survei lapangan untuk melakukan pengembangan komoditi nenas di Kecamatan Siempat Rube yang kita targetkan 2013 sudah berproduksi” ungkap Pane.(mag-14)

Pakpak Bharat Segera Miliki BUMD Gambir

PAKPAK BHARAT- Dalam rangka mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi rakyat, Pemkab Pakpak Bharat melalui instansi terkait mendirikan Badan Usaha Milik Daerah (BUMD) yakni Perusahaan Daerah Pakpak Agro Lestari (PD PAL).

Hal tersebut disampaikan Kadis Perindagkop melalui Kabag Humas Kastro di ruang kerjanya, Selasa (27/3).
“Untuk mengantisipasi dan meminimalisir permasalahan terkait perekonomian serta mendorong terciptanya peningkatan pertumbuhan daya saing dalam usaha pertanian dan pengolahan hasil pertanian di Kabupaten Pakpak Bharat, maka pada tahun anggaran 2011 telah dibentuk Badan Usaha Milik Daerah, yaitu Perusahaan Daerah Pakpak Agro Lestari” terang Kastro.

Lebih jauh disampaikannya, tugas pokok yang akan dilaksanakan PD PAL adalah membina, mengelola, menyelenggarakan dan mengembangkan kegiatan dibidang usaha-usaha ekonomi produktif yang diarahkan kepada pelayanan masyarakat, pemberian jasa dan perolehan laba berdasarkan prinsip -prinsip dan fungsi-fungsi sebagai suatu perusahaan dengan tujuan menyelenggarakan kegiatan usaha yang profesional sesuai peraturan perundang-undangan.
